What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file that a site asks your browser to keep, and that your browser sends back on every later request. Sites use cookies to remember a setting, to keep you signed in, or to follow you from one site to the next.

We use none of those. This site has no sign-in, no advertising and no cross-site tracking.

Cookies and browser storage are not the same thing

Browser storage, often called local storage, is a small notebook your browser keeps for one site. Unlike a cookie, it is never attached to a request and never sent to a server.

It stays on your device until you clear it, or until the site that wrote it removes it. That difference matters here, because browser storage is the only thing this site uses.

What this site stores

Nothing at all is stored until you make a choice. When you choose, one entry is written in your browser's local storage.

The consent entry is strictly necessary, because it is the record of your own decision. It holds no identifier, it says nothing about you, and it never reaches us.

There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting and no cross-site identifiers on this site.

Analytics on this site

No analytics is switched on at the moment, so nothing is measured and no script is loaded. That is true whether you accept or decline.

The panel still asks, because the choice is recorded before anything could run. If analytics is switched on later, this page is updated to name it first.

How to accept or decline

A panel appears at the foot of the screen on your first visit. It has two buttons, accept and decline, and both of them are real.

Declining does the same as ignoring it: nothing runs either way. The difference is that a recorded decline stops the panel from asking again.

How to change your choice

Use the button below. It clears the saved entry and opens the panel again, so you can choose either way.

There is no measurement to stop, because no analytics is switched on. The button still clears the record, so the panel asks again.

If you clear your browser

Clearing site data removes the entry, so the panel will ask again on your next visit. That is expected. Choose again and it is remembered again.

Another browser, another device or a private window has its own record, because nothing about your choice is ever sent to us.

Pages we link to

Our booking link opens a Google calendar page. That page belongs to Google, runs under Google's terms, and may set cookies of its own.

The same is true of any other site we link to. Your choice here applies to this site only, and it does not travel with you.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add something that stores data in your browser, we will ask you first and update this page before it runs.

The date at the top is the date of the last change. The privacy policy covers everything else we hold.
